Wii Homebrew ISO troubles

help guys i burned the iso on my mac using liquid CD onto an Imation 16x DVD-R 4.7gig disc (i burned at 4x speed), but when i insert it into my wii it says disc not recognized...

ok edit now ive tried a hundred things:
ive tried img burn on windows.. ive tried burning at 2.4x and 4x
ive tried setting write type to incremental
ive tried it all
yet still disc unreadable.. ?
pls help me. also imation is syntax trusted so im pretty sure the disc isnt bad

I wonder what Happen??? I did it and it works flawlessly. This is what i did:

1 Download the 7mb zipped file.
2 Unzipped it. It comes to about 4.3 gb i belive.
3 Burned with IMGburn at 2x with default setting (verbatim DVD-R)
4 Insert on the wii and run from disc channel.

Its strange that you dont even see the HBC banner in the disc channel. Does you backup games still run??

and also ive got a bunch of fake games that i bought (until i realized i cud do them myself), but i only paid about 50baht for a game ... that 1.2$
ive been playing mario kart and ssbb for a while.. no problems..

hmm thats really weird, i dont know what to tell you but try redownloading it and unziping again. might work. if that fails then get a copy of zelda and install it using the tp hack and wad manager.

joshua.lyon sez it might me my DVD (imation) ive read some posts saying that it doesnt go so well with the wii.. ive also read one saying that the user had no luck with burning wii games on imation.. so im off to buy some of the reccomended DVD's, if this doesnt work then well i guess no HBC.. becuz i cant get a copy of zelda for less than a lot of money in india..and i really dont want to do the twilight hack

have you tried verbatim dvds they are suppose to be the best for the wii, are you sure the modchip is installed propley and you are able to run other backups?
