    Updated from Wii Sports Resort...

My mother got me Wii Sports Resort for Christmas, pretty much just for the Wii Motion Plus, I then wanted to play it, and at this time my internet wasn't working properly, so I thought about it, and took the chance and updated it.

Before this I was happily playing my GameCube backups on my Wii - using WiiGator's v0.2 GC Backup Launcher - worked perfectly.

Wii Backup's still work, strangely, but I'd love to get GC Backups working again.

I installed my homebrew on 4.2E (the console itself is about 3 years old, but it was updated.) Orginally everything went well, I followed a few tutorials, finally got it working, and then bam, Wii Sports Resort screws me over - and I know I shouldn't have.

I also have no idea what IOS and cIOS stand for and all the rest of it, I'm a bit of a newb to this whole scene. (I do however know that cIOS is just custom IOS's :P)

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers,

    - Rob.

Yeah, but reinstalling is potentially dangerous? Because of the update that I done? Is there any way to remove this update? It didn't seem to change my version number.

    Thanks btw.

Alright, which version should I use? Or would it matter?

Works perfectly with a reinstall. Thanks man.

I bought Wii Sports Resort today and of course, it needs to update the system. I didn't let it update as I didn't want to screw up my Wii.

I have backup loader 0.3 gamma IOS249 with 3.1u system. Can I mess up the Wii if I update it? Would it be better to get Preloader and disable all updates?

I got this game as a birthday present and I'd really like to make it work on our Wii, but I don't want to brick it either...

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
