Unhappy Can't load any non-official channels

    Hello everybody!

I bought my Wii some weeks ago and I managed to install Homebrew Channel and I am playing my games using the USB Loager GX (the homebrew) !

Probably I did something wrong because I can't launch any unofficial channels....
When I click on 'Start' on these channels, the screen goes black and nothing happens... and the light of the Wii Mote turn off....
I installed the Internet Channel using the Wad Manager, so I think that it isn't the problem, because I can browse the internet now
I tried these channels: USB Loader GX, USB Loader GX Forwarder, WMplayer CE and some versions of Neogama

My "board" (I don't know the name for this number =p) is LU11 and the original System Menu version was 4.0U

Trying to "clean" the mess I made, I upgraded the System Menu to 4.1U, using the Waninkoko updater, but everything still the same =/

I don't know what is the problem... I think that it could be the "Trucha Bug", but I guess that I have already installed it....

Sorry my bad English... If you don't understood what I said, ask and I will do my best to explain it again =p

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello again!

Some days ago I noticed that some Homebrew stopped working!
I think it is because I updated the system menu to 4.1U... before that everything was working fine (except the channels)

    The homebrews that stopped working:
WiiXplorer --> stops on a black screen.
    ftpii --> same thing
MPlayer CE --> appear "Loading MPlayer" and stops.

I tried to execute again the trucha bug restorer, but it didn't solved the problem =/

A friend of mine suggested to use the waninkoko updater to update to version 4.2 but I am afraid it [messed] everything yet more ˇ.˛

That's 2 posts I had to modify to remove your swearing. You now start shouting in your posts too?

Try loading other things with bannerbomb, such as signcheck (which you can then list your installed IOS here), Loadmii, Trucha Bug Restorer, Wad manager etc.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Nope, nothing works =/
I did this mess using the CIOS Downgrader v1.0, from Waninkoko....
In theory, it downloaded any IOS without the trucha bug and patched it...
I still able to upgrade my Wii to 4.2, via the system menu...
This will help? It will re-download the IOS that were patched?

    Thanks!

Actually I can only boot bootmii....
    Does it helps?

    -----
At least, with this I can open GeexBox MINI version...
Does it have more apps. that can be loaded through the BootMii ?
Some apps. that can undo the mess I did?

    PS: I don't have a NAND backup -____-"

    ------

    One last question:
If I upgrade my Wii to 4.2 by the official ways, it will replace every IOS in my wii?
If I could reinstall the IOS lower than 36, to the originals, probably my apps will work again. I think this is the only change that the program did /o/
Otherwise I can hardmod my wii to play games via the disc channels, but I like to watch movies on the wii /o/
What do you all think? Should I upgrade and follow the tutorial, or should I stop messing around?

    Extract CB2_BB1_Dop-Ios-Mod-v10.1.zip to a formated sd-card
    Bannerbomb it, use ios 249
Reinstall ios36 and ios60 with patches
Reinstall your other ios, without patches.

    Thanks mauifrog,

I already managed to get the correct ISO36 as well ^^"
I used the "Trucha Bug Restorer" from the tutorial New 3.1-4.1 Softmod for ANY Wii associated with the banner bomb xD

I was just wondering how to to get the others IOS xD
    Thanks o/

PS: It's safe to reinstall IOS60 with the patch?
Maybe this could let me load the unofficial channels ...

    ---------------------

Well, using the CB2_BB1_Dop-Ios-Mod-v10.1.zip that you gaved to me, I reinstaled the IOS36. The IOS that was intalled by the trucha bug was older than the one on Drop-IOS.
Magically after that, the unofficial channels started to work fine.
But Mplayer CE and the WiiXplorer won't loaded. So I noticed that IOS 202 was corrupted and reinstaled it (Play DVDs on your Wii with Mplayer CE and DVDX).
Now everything seems to be working perfectly!

Now I'm thinking on removing the stubed IOS that the "IOS Downgrader" installed, because the Sign check freezes when loading one of them... So if one program try to load it, it will freeze...
Sould I remove them, using Drop-IOS?
