OK I have sorted it. it is a problem with my pc. i used a friends laptop to put the files onto my sd card and done it no problem. my next question is does anyone know what could be the problem with my pc. i have done a virus scan with avast and found nothing.Originally Posted by gazbag

i have a noob question. im sure im just missing a steps somewhere.i have 3.3u firmware. trying to use the twilight hack and when i go to save the data from the sd card it says "data was not copied" or something like that. any thoughts? ive been able to get everythig working on my sters 3.1u wii. but not my new one.
homebrew channel
Im trying to put the homebrew channel. I did every instruction just as instructed. I am now at the point where I have to run backwards and even tried talking to the guy. A black screen pops up and still says something like this in order:
Boot.dol not found (-1)
Failed to read Boot.Elf (-1)!
Wo code found to load, hanging.
What do I do to finish with the process of installing the homebrew channel into my Wii?!?

SD card should be formatted to FAT32!!!!

and make sure that boot.dol is in the SD root
Anyone else having problems with the hackmii site and trying to d/l the install file?
I have tried 4 times, and the d/l freezes at the 4 MB mark
Nevermind, I eventually got it. There seemed a need to "power" through that 4 MB mark, and then the d/l speed dropped from 200 Kps to 10 kps, but I got it done.
