Unhappy I'm receiving 'DVD Read Error (1048)' when all my other burnt games work perfectly?

    Hey guys.

I've recently hacked my Wii (it's not a new Wii, I've only just decided now to hack it) and so far I've burnt 7 games. The first 6 work PERFECTLY, but once I slipped in my 7th game (Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (from Church001's thread, and he's one of the best uploaders on here)) it gave me an error saying 'DVD Read Error (1048)'. I've already searched for this here but the problem is always that the person messed up their install, is using a wrong DVD, or that they just have a new Wii. Seeing as how my first 6 games work, I figure it's none of these problems.

    I have 4.2U. I use Neogamma R8 beta15. I also use IMGBURN at 2.4x speed to burn, and I use DVD-R's.

I have NO clue what the problem would be seeing as how the majority of my burnt games work (the only guesses I have would be region issues for this game, it being a bad rip or me messing something up uninintentionally during the whole process) so I'd gladly appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks a ton!

Try using AnyTitleDeleter to find out if you are missing an IOS needed for this FF game. After a quick google search I found that someone under similar circumstances was missing IOS37. If you install IOS37 though, you may get 002 Error so make sure you have 002 Error fix set on in NeoGamma.

Here is the thread where I got my information; Please Help - Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles : Echoes of Time and Ru - GBAtemp.net
Doesn't hurt to read over this thread. Also, next time please try and use google, all I did was type into google: "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time IOS needed" and this was the fifth result. Just a heads up so that you don't get flamed if you post again without researching.

    Hope this helps!
Please remember to thank if I have helped you in any way!

Well, I did spend time googling for the solution to my problem, but nothing came up relating to missing an IOS file, therefore I never even knew to include that in my original search. Thanks for the advice though.

I checked not too long ago and I DO have IOS37 on my Wii...any other suggestions? Also, just for future reference I searched Neogamma's options for a 002 fix but there wasn't an option relating to that there. Is it because I have R8?

    Thanks again.

Alright, so I'm guessing I have the one with the built-in debugging.

Does anybody have any other solutions?
