    Homebrew Channel Empty

Is the Homebrew Channel suppose to be empty when first installed?

I've installed the Homebrew Channel using the Indiana Pwns buffer overflow exploit on a 4.2E Wii.

I was expecting to find a wad installer once I had Homebrew on but nothing. I want to install the USB Loader and the instructions I found sounded simple enough. Install Homebrew then use the wad installer to install the USB Loader.

If my empty looking install of Homebrew is correct what do I need to do next to install USB Loader or even the wad installer?

make sure that the folder with the .dol files (wad manger and so on) are in the apps folder... the sd folder tree should look like this... (- = folder) (-- = sub folder)

    SD Card
    -apps
    --Wad manger
    --priiloader
    -- (i.e)
    --(i.e)
    -wad
    --(i.e)
    --(i.e)

hope this helps... i would do a screen shot but im at work... lol (working)

Thanks for the response, I now have the Wad installer running.

Another question, do I need to install a cIOS for the wad installer to work?

I ask as the installer does not get past the "Which IOS do you want to use" screen.

I followed the instructions in the "How to get a cIOS on 4.2" tutorial. Loaded the Wad Installer and have now installed the USB Loader GX Channel. I am in the process of ripping a game to USB at the moment.

All this in the aid of playing New Super Mario Bros on Christmas day
