HBC - Load from USB first?

Since I've been running out of room on my NAND, I've decided to move all of my WiiWare over to my SD Card. I like keeping my HBC apps apps on my USB Drive because a) it seems like a more permanent solution and b) it just has more space. Heck, if I could I'd put my Wiiware on it too, I would (I've tried Triforce...didn't like it...decided to go the SD route).

So my problem now is that I like to just keep the SD Card in at all times to have easy access to WiiWare, but whenever I bring up the HBC, it loads an empty list of apps because it's reading from my SD Card and not the USB Drive. Getty my lazy a* off the couch and popping out the SD fixes the problem as HBC detects this and reads from my USB instead. After I do this, I usually forget about it, and then when I want to play some WiiWare, I have to pop the SD back in (which again, requires me to get off my lazy a*).

    So my question....

Is there a way to have HBC load the list of available apps from the USB first and/or ignore the SD Card even if it's inserted?

    Thanks in advance!

Did you or anyone else find a solution?

I was wanting to do this since I pretty much load everything from USB and there is an occasional homebrew program that will only load from SD. That way I can just leave the SD card in and still load everything from USB.

    Thanks

No, I haven't. Haven't really looked into it since I made this post. Maybe someone with an answer will see it now that it's been bumped.

If you press 1 at the HBC, it will give you an option to load from the USB instead of the SD card. That way you don't have to get up.

I'm currently looking for a way to just bypass this so it loads from the USB right when I enter HBC even when the SD card is inserted, but for right now this works.

Currently there is no way to bypass/ignore the SD Card, it has been requested many times, we can only hope & wait

Ha. There are quite a few things I'm hoping and waiting for. I really would love a homebrew app that acts like ftpii but with the WBFS partition so I could backup my game isos wirelessly over the network instead of having to unplug my external usb hdd every time.

I'm also hoping to find a save game manager, but one that doesn't require you to have a previously saved game of the same game in order to install your files, or have the DVD of the game to extract the saved files. So the SaveGame Installer, Extracter, and Manager all are not what I want. Lol.
