Angry Rock Band 2 DLC from SD Card?

So I loaded those 3 hacking wads correctly; the end result is that, as intended, all of the Rock Band 2 DLC says "purchased". I can download songs and they work, but when I go to Wii Menu>Data Management>Save Data>Wii and attempt to move those DLC files containing the songs to my SD card, I get a message that says "these will not work on any other wii" and so, of course, I'm cool with it. Now, I go back to Rock Band 2, and (yeah, you guessed it) all of the songs stored on the wii system work fine, but the ones saved on the SD card DON'T SHOW UP! WTF? I have a Kingston 2gb non-sdhc SD card, so that's not the problem. I AM loading the game through USB Loader GX... what is the problem here? The game even says upon startup (like, after all those company logos) that it is checking the SD card or something
    ---
Bottom line: How do I get RB2 to recognize my DLC on the SD card (cuz it just ain't happenin' right now!)?
EDIT: System 4.0, Herme's ios 222 to load game

I'm having the same problem with Guitar Hero 5 and reading DLC from an SD card. The retail disc reads/writes to the SD card fine. But when running from a USB Loader, it can't seem to even recognize there's an SD card present. There's got to be a solution.

To let you guys know the usb loader isn't currently compatible with the sd card when using RB or guitar hero. In order to have the sd card work you have to use the origanal game discs. I can't even begin to explain the technical reason the usb loader and sd card don't work together for those games.

Odd I'm using Kingston SD Cards for GH and RB and my DLC works fine with WiiFlow USB Loader.

Have you guys installed everything properly according to the guides?

cvgoldensun are you sure they aren't working off the sd card? Mine says the same thing when copying them over, sometimes it says the exsist already so I delete them off wii system memory and they are in RB2. My issue is with a usb loader my dlc is copied off the sd to wii system memory everytime I play the game, I eventually run out of memory and RB2 stops saving, however all the DLC works fine.

    Could you try?

Must it be a retail disc only that can access DLC on an SD card? Or could a DVD-R backup disc access the SD card as well. Also, are you saying it's technically impossible for GH5/RB2 run from a USB loader to access the SD card forever or just for now?

I believe that if you have an origanal and a backup dvd-r it will work with your sd card. But I'm not possitive. Lets hope that the usb loader issue is sometime resoveled. It would be awesome I just got the guitar hero 5 hack working that allows you to download all content but can only download to the system memory becuase I don't have the disc. Hope this helps, I don't know how badz2211 is getting his sd card working with his usb loader.

i have ran into this issue w/ world tour and yes a backup dvd-r disk will work with the SD card loading, you just wont get the preview when you move to the song.

I had to play with mine for a bit to get everything working. Here's how it went down for me. I'm using USBloaderGX to run the game. After installikg the wad's, go to Rock Band 2 and download your song. It should download the song and then try to move it to the SD card. If for some reason the songs dont show up on the track list then go to your home menu, and then delete the save files that say "rock band 2 DLC" from your wii's system memory. Now the next time you boot up the game it will be forced to check the SD card for content and should show up all your downloaded songs. If you need further help let me know.
