Wii Memory Issue
So I deceided to install some more VC games on my wii and upon exiting the WAD manager I get the message that my system memory is full and things need to be uninstalled. So I go into the data section for the channels and start deleting some games, but doing so is not freeing up any blocks. It is continually stuck at zero blocks, and the wii wont let me go back to the WAD channel to uninstall the games from there (which I guess is what was suppose to be done?). Anyway, so I'm stuck now. Someone with a similiar problem/possibly the same had to format their wii, is this the only way to fix this? if so will this revert the wii back to virgin status? if not what needs to be done? and I take it all the game saves will be gone?
Edit: Also, someone else that had the same problem said they were able to continue deleting games untill eventualy a few blocks were freed, and they got into the WAD manager and fixed things, should I attempt this instead of formatting?

I figured out the problem, but i'll share for anyone else that make have the same issue. I remember reading somewhere that the wii has around 500 emergency blocks, and I'm guessing that's why it stayed at 0 free blocks for so long. After going back and deleting a few more games (star fox 64 was the last one, it was fairly big at around 120 blocks) I started to regain some memory, so my advice is delete as many games as you can and eventually you should be back to normal.
personaly i think the wii memory is a joke
its so small its an insult PLUS it wears out from alot of useage causing bad blocks
consider looking into triiforce
i love it
Pharen, just ran into the same EXACT problem so I'm going to start deleting more. The funny part is i was in WAD manager installing all sorts of wads, and I got an error in the middle of installing gee let's guess which one....Star Fox 64! All I know is once I undo this problem, I'm staying the hell away from that game.
Did you guys ever get the problem fixed?
