    Problems with hack...please help

I recently decided to try and hack my wii. Did not think it was going to be this difficult. I used this link http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html as a tutorial.

I got up to step 3b or 3c, but after that my screen was upside down. Even before that i would get a black screen when I clicked on the trucha bug and other apps. Remote would shut off too. Weird. Sometimes they would work and sometimes they wouldn't.

After finally doing all this (with an upside down screen only on homebrew channel) I went to upgrade because I am on version 3.3. The upgrade failed. I was too pissed I can't even remember the error code. Please help!

So you have Preloader installed, correct? Try using Preloader to boot straight through the the HBC? How did you try and upgrade? Through an official update or through Waninkoko's "safe" updater?

I do not have priiloader installed because in step 4 it says this "If you are on 3.3 or 3.4 then you must update now - DO NOT install priiloader until you have updated as it will cause untold problems!."

I am trying to update with the firmware updater 4.1 through homebrew channel.

Re-installing Homebrew channel will fix the orientation.
