    bootmii

ok first off have a 3.3u wii - homebrew, neogamma channel, several usb loaders
I havent installed boot mii as ios yet or preloader which are my only options. i have been waiting till i could figure which one is better.

Just modded a buddys and it had the option for boot mii installation as boot 2. Starting to think maybe i should swap wiis and make a backup nand for myself since i experiment with iut all the time and his will never be modded again. his wii is at 3.4 (i didnt want to downgrade it because everything worked and didnt want to risk brick for nothing)

    any thoughts welcome.........

or is preloader and bootmii ios the future?

    thnx

First of all you cannot install preloader to a 3.3 system, only 3.2, 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2. But BootMii and Preloader together is the best brick prevention and restoration there is right now. You can still make a backup of your NAND even if BootMii is installed as an IOS, just if your Wii bricks you would have to use preloader to get into HBC to access BootMii to perform the restore. (although doing a restore this way could be potentionally risky, but i have succesfully done it a few times)

BootMii as boot2 is the preferred method.
