    4. restart wii and go to main menu not preloader
    5. get cioscorp uninstaller and bannerbomb
    6. put banner bomb on mem card and the folder with all the wads from cioscorp
    7. put the files in apps folder(cioscorp uninstaller still) on the root of the card
    8. run banner bomb (wii management, channels, sd card) and it should run the uninstaller
    9. after that you should be able to run bootmii and install homebrew

so far worked for me...so if you cant get mario bros and have a gamecube controller there you go...pretty much you need cioscorp uninstaller like above to get everything running again
I don't have a gamecube controller. It gives me black screen and freeze when i try to load dop ios and cioscorp uninstaller with preloader. Whenever i try to load homebrew application, it will be the same black screen and freeze. I guess nothing much i can do now. Thanks for helping.

the problem is everyone is installing old IOS on new Wii's.

there is updated motherboard on the new wii's which cause timing issues with older IOS versions. so the old IOS36-1040 is not compatible with your wii's.

the fix posted here of inverted HBC is bogus. installing original IOS34-3348 then re-install HBC is the best option. this leaves IOS36 patched and allow Hackmii installer to run. this also prevents this issue with newer wii's.

cIOSCORP users also need IOS36-cDIP patched for games, but there are no known games which run using IOS34.

Did you read the whole thread? Because there is a solution in the first post of the second page. It works.

you have to use it with preloader and a gamecube controller or else it will freeze...you can use Dop Ios Mod...not dop ios...and just load new ios36...you cant use bannerbomb till you replace ios36-3xxx...after you can use bannerbomb to load cioscorp 3.5 uninstaller and load all the ios back then run hackmii....

first line says you need a gamecube controller and you need to use DOP IOS MOD not DOP IOS...if you dont have the controller you have to do it with the retail new mario bros game...theres 2 diff ways i just provided an alternative cause i had already bought a controller on ebay for $5

Thanks. I managed to fix my wii using Dop-IOS MOD v9 and loading with bannerbomb exploit method. " Then choose ios 249 to use then install NEW ios36(v3xxx) i believe you hit A " as suggested by stevenj05.

Now everything is working normally just like before i install IOS36-64-v1042.wad which causes homebrew application to become freeze and black screen. Please don't install this wad file as suggested in some homebrew fixing guide on the new wii updated motherboard which produced sometime in 2008.

I have uploaded the files which contain Dop-IOS MOD v9 with bannerbomb exploit. Just copy the files inside to the root of your sd card. Then go to Wii --> Data management --> Channels --> sd card and press yes to load the boot.dol/elf. Then choose ios 249 to use then install NEW ios36(v3xxx) i believe you hit A. Hope it helps for anyone who encounter this problems
copy the files inside to the root of your sd card.rar

I just want to know how to install new homebrew channel 1.06 on my new updated wii motherboard because i always get the error message " no vulnerable ios found in system " when loading hackmii installer. My current homebrew is 1.03 , firmware 4.0u and korean set modded to US version.
