You are going to have to install IOS 60 patch wad first after that install 4.1 system wad for your region. it is in Tealc sig. Then follow the rest of the tutorial.

    Here you go.

Try using NUSDownloader to download IOS60 and System Menu 4.1 for your region. While downloading it, make sure that Pack as wad was checked. Then copy those wads into the WAD folder that should be on the root of your sd card. Then install IOS60 and System Menu via WAD Manager.

Yes that's the way it works.

Has to be IOS60patched first then Sys Menu wad ok.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Ok understood!

when i got Waninkoko update they where not a wad file but a dol file.
These dol files are useless to me, because i can only use wad files. correct?
Where can i get wad files. Cause I could not find a wad file at Waninkoko blog, or at usb loader gx site.

are the files at NUSDownloader the same than the IOS60patched?
If I install this new IOS will I need to reinstal hbc?

dol file is an application which can be almost anything.

wad file is a channel/IOS install package.

IOS60patched is a specially patched IOS60 to allow use of SD cards and the VC/Wiiware stuff. Here's IOS60, not available on NUS Downloader IOS60patched.rar

No reinstall of HBC required. If you have Preloader/Priiloader it will need installing again though.
