    Screen Cycles on Backup Launcher

When I open a game in backup launcher on a burned game, the screen rolls top to bottom... Like the old Nintendo where you had to hit it to get the image to stop scrolling...

I loads the disk fine (burnt at 2x using imgburn) but it always scrolls.
    Software 4.0U, Backup Launcher v 0.3 beta

    Any thoughts?

Are you perhaps trying to play a game out of your region (PAL)? Also your Backup loader is outdated, Use NeoGamma R7 and try enabling the force NTSC Option.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot and let you know. Any chance I could get a link to it?

Here is the wad for the channel. Install it via WAD Manager. Also make sure to have some sort of brick protection.

    NeoGamma R7-NGR7.rar

I installed the channel from the link so that's good. I go to start and get the following:

"Your cIOS has revision 7. NeoGamma was written for revision 14 an up, if you get compatiility problems, update the cIOS!"

I press a button to continue, "Launch Game on DVD"... and the spinning is still going.

What else should I try? I appreciate the help.

Install cios38rev14. It's in my sig. I still think the problem lies in your force video settings, but give this a shot. You need to get up to date anyways.

CIOS is different than a system update. Systems run off of IOS's which are different than CIOS's. This update wont hurt you. Updating to 4.1 or messing with any IOS's under 200 is where the big no no's are. You'll be fine. Do that then mess with the video options again. My NSMB rolled on me like that cause it was out of region and I forced the video to NTSC and it worked like a champ. Good luck!

I should be able to just put IOS38-64-v360.wad into my apps directory and run it from my current WAD installer correct?

Problem Solved! I forced NTSC in neogamma and we're golden. I didn't do the update you suggested but thanks a lot for your help! Problem Solved. Many thanks.
