Well there guides to install softmod and guides to get NSMB running, they'd be the best place to start. I'd link them but am on my Daughters laptop.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Could i follow the guide from 3. get cios, and not install bootmii and back up my nand or do i need these installed first? Thanks and sorry for noob questions

It might be worth investing in a full size SD card and installing BootMii because you could then do a NAND backup to protect your Wii.

if you want to skip this step then yes, continue from Step 3. - GET A CIOS
