USB LOADER GX or WiiFlow or BOTH ???

    Hey guys!

After spending forever softmodding to 4.1U, I currently have preloader 3.0, usb loader gx, and homebrew 1.0.6. on my Wii, which loads directly into USB GX. I also have my games stored on a USB HDD. Then after doing all that I saw how "pretty" wii flow looks. So I I have a few questions, and am hoping somebody can help.

I love how with the wii flow themes you can see the front and back of the game boxes. And have it play the game sound when you click on the game in the loader. (some people said USB loader GX does both of these too... but mine doesn't).

Can I have both Usb loader GX, and WiiFlow on the wii at the same time?
I know I would have to partition off a Fat section of my usb HDD. Other then that can they both exist happily together?

Are there any guides or tutorials for installing/setting up wii flow?

Sorry for all the questions. I went to wii flows website, but i cant see the FAQ section.

    Thanks again!

I have USB Loader GX and Configurable USB Loader together on mine... I noticed when I had USB Loader GX by itself, it didn't play song clips. Now, since I also have CFG USB Loader installed, they both play sound clips. I guess it was just a folder that was needed. GX still doesn't show the back of the games though. I'd actually recommend CFG instead of Wiiflow... I think the various themes, especially the Matrix theme, look better than anything on Wiiflow. Just my opinion though.

I guess I didn't really answer your question but it was semi-relevant I guess.

I installed Wiiflow on my softmodded Wii that already had USB Loader on it , and I haven't noticed any issues. Since Wiiflow is so slick, I'll be using that as my primary loader on the first page of my channels. But I plan on keeping USB Loader GX on the back page in case I come across any compatibility issues. If a new game comes out that requires an update to your loader in order to run correctly, I'd bet Loader GX would get updated first.

Thanks guys. I will go check out CFG USB Loader before i set out on this path. lol.

One more question, I already have my hard as one partition for wii games. Is there a way for me to shrink it and add a FAT partition so I can use that instead of my SD card?

If i try and do it in windows it will force me to format the whole thing first. I dont want go through the hours of getting the games on the drive again! Perhaps there is a program i can use? Im on windows 7 64 bit, if that matters.

    Thanks guys!

From everything that I've read, I think you need to repartition the whole drive which means losing anything on your existing partition. However, I just learned about the "clone" feature in WBFS Manager which sounds like it could make your life a bit easier. I'm going to be using it tonight to move my WBFS partition to another drive.

They were updated practically at the same time when NSMB came out. Speaking of updated, it looks like Wiiflow 1.1 R22 just came out today!

There is also no harm in having multiple loaders especially if one can load a game that the other can't, but I haven't heard any stories of this happening so far. It's all about personal taste when it comes to loaders.

It doesn't seem like anything critical compared to R21. It sounds like they made it so that the box appears red like the retail case when you select the game instead of white.
