    Bootmii help!!

I softmodded my wii using the full guide to hacking 4.2 systems fromthis forum not long ago and during the instalation i installed bootmii as a ios and i could load it up using the homebrew channel and created a back up of my nand. Now since then i have updated the homebrew channel to v1.6 and installed cIOSCORP 3.5.

And now i press thelaunch bootmii button that the HBC has and nothing happens my screen just goes blank and the nintendo wii just has the disk slot flashing.

i only have a apps folder and wad folder on my sd do i need any other files on it to be able to launch bootmii from the HBC.

Bootmii/IOS is not really all that useful. I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's very very dangerous to even consider restoring a NAND dump with bootmii/IOS at the moment.

You probably need to run the hackmii installer again and install the latest bootmii version.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

You need the bootmii files on your sd-card for it to run as well. You can make those again if you've lost them using the hackmii installer. Put them some place safe, and as mentioned above- not a good idea to restore NAND from iso bootmii, perhaps someday, but not today. Make a backup if you like and keep those bootmii files somewhere safe. Your wii is working without issue?
