Installed wrong region 4.1 update... solution?

Hi everyone. I've had a look for a fix to my semi-brick but everything refers to < 4.0. I used the 4.0 updater and then the 4.1 updater today not realizing I'd changed my NTSC-U consoles region to EU/PAL with AnyRegionChanger a few months ago (last time I used it). As such I couldn't access my Setting Menu.

My first fix was to change my consoles region to EU which allowed me access to the settings menu but now as far as I can tell... I have a PAL console and that is NOT what I want! Can I just use AnyRegionChanger to set everything back to US and then run the 4.1 updater again to effectively take my machine back to being an NTSC-US machine?

I'd rather leave it as a PAL (until the next updater) if there is a risk of brick as it doesn't seem to make much difference, other than my old channels/old games not working, at this point.

Hope someone can answer that simple one before I risk my machine

As AnyRegion Changer will tell you: The System Menu version and the Region have to be the same. THAT said... I believe you can set the System Menu, the region, AND change the firmware in AnyRegion Changer.

I'd backup the NAND before trying this. Hopefully you have access to Boot2.

I have BootMii installed which is what starts every time the machine turns on. I can load the System Menu no problems at the moment and everything seems 'okay' I just want it to have the US System Menu. I like the sound of your idea but AnyRegionChanger only has System Menu 3.4 and given that I'm already at 4.1 I cant imagine that would turn out well! Anyone else have experience with changing region/system menu when on 4.1?

4.1 runs on IOS60. 3.4 runs on IOS50. So install those, and 249 and it should work fine.

    DOPIOS will do that.

Will give this a try as soon as I get home from work! Thanks. I didn't realize that App could do all of those things, but looks right now that I look! Aweosme.
