How to install homebrew on 4.0 firmware when SD slot wont read?

    I have a wii with a wiikey 2 installed.

I was wanting to put the homebrew channel, etc on it so as to play the new mario.

On attempting to do this, it appears as if my SD slot on the wii is not reading SD cards at all (it's broken) - I have tried multiple cards, none of them work.

Is there any way to install homebrew and other programs needed without using the SD slot?

    Thanks in advance.

Finding a way around this would only be treating the SYMPTOMS... you need to fix the CAUSE of your problem: You need to get that SD card reader fixed.

It should be relatively inexpensive to get done. I suggest you get ta doing it.

Even if you have to send the thing into Nintendo to fix, all the would likely do is install 4.2. Which you could easily change at this point. If you wait for them to release another firmware though...

    Get it fixed NOW.
