    help softmod

    hi guys i bought a wii about 8 months ago and softmodded it with a guide called softmod for dummies it was 2nd edition so my will has got old stuff installed on it but i would like to get it updated with all the new stuff so i can play all the latest games can any one point me the right way what i need to install as i been looking about and there 100s of guides now it just confuse me and there loads off way to do it now i was want to burn a back up and put it in the wii and away i go thanks very much if ya can help i think my wii is 3.1e or 3.2e do i need to take all my old stuff off again like a virgin wii or can i go straight over the top thats installed on my wii cheers

    This is a really good guide. Update to 4.1. Especially if you already have homebrew.
    If you already have Homebrew, upgrade to 4.1 written by Dogeggs

    thanks mate so i just the guide you put up is it ok to write over what i have installed all ready on my wii i have homebrew channel on the wii so i start the guide with that and get it updated to 4.1 and whats next after that anything else to install cheers aint done none off this for a long while

    Yes use the whole guide, you won't have to re install HBC. Make sure you have 300 blocks free. If you have cIOS38rev14 no need to do again.
