issues after soft modding wii.

I have received a wii back from repairs from nintendo. It was the disc drive they replaced. Now I ran the twilight hack and all apps included in the softmii method. Everything seemed fine like all other wii's that I soft modded until I tried to run backup disc. I get disc reading error, even through Neogamma r4. Anyone had this issue and have a solution, Im about to see if usbloader works. Im thinking Nintendo did something do it to prevent running backups. Any advice or input is appreciated.

Make sure that you are burning a good working ISO on high quality DVD-R media at low speeds. If you are and ALL of your games do this then this means they gave you a D3-2 Drive which will not read DVDR, the only solution as of now is to use USB Loader.

you should have used the guide in my sig, not the really old twilight hack, but nvm.

Update neogamma to r7, and install cios38rev14.

If it still wont play DVD, but will play from USB, then the chances are that they have replaced your drive with the new D3-2 drive, which wil lnot play backup DVD's, and you will have no choice but to use USB.

I was figuring as much that it had to do with the drive. I was searching the web to find answers but now thanks to you guys I know it must be the new drive. Ok, usb loader I will try. Having issues with preloader not running as well. Any insight on how to fix that as well? A link to a staple usbloader is also appreciated since I never used it before. By the way thanks for the input so far, I was on another site and havent received any help there yet, here I blinked and I had to replies. thanks
