Can't run any channels except standard and homebrew

I followed the 3.1-4.1 Softmod Guide here: [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]

But whenever I try to run... say... Wad Manager as a channel... or Neo Gamma... it will show the start screen... then when I click start it will try to run and exit back to the Wii Menu.

I'm running 3.0U and I followed the directions in that guide exactly. (Except I didn't install Preloader or IOS60 since they were said to be optional.)

Just tried updating to 3.2 using AnyRegion Changer to see if that would help... nothing doing.

Just a silly thought but are the channels you are using actually forwarders? I often get that when I forget to put my SD card in the Wii and start one of my apps.

You don't need IOS60 on 3.0 or 3.2 although preloader might be handy now that you are on 3.2 unless of course you have bootmii/boot2 already installed.

this may sound silly... but what does that MEAN actually?

I installed the channels using wad manager. I believe they were just like one .wad file each.

A forwarder is a channel that 'points' to a location on SD that contains a booting application. It's a way that we can change and update the version on SD without faffing about with channels all the time but still retain the one click launch functionality.

To test ensure you have a Neogamma installed on your SD in apps as normal and try running it again.

It's installed.

Runs fine from HC. Will not run from as it's own channel.

Then it's a strange one. Do you have any other Homebrew channels that actually work?

Sorry typed that a little wrong.

What I meant to say was do you have any other hombrew applications installed as channels, such as USB Loader, MplayerCE, etc.

Yes I have USB loader and Wad Manager, as well as a virtual console game, and none of them load.

Yet, if I go into the homebrew channel, they load just fine there.
