    Its too bad there isnt a wii hack yet to extend the harddrive. Like a hack to make the software use a usb HDD to continue its space. I'm sure it could be physically modded for that but.

    Are you sure the Wii has a hard drive?

    No he's saying the external USB harddrive that many people use to store games....the wii only has 512Meg of memory or so...enough for about 8-10 N64 channels or so....
    Channels should be loaded both from Wii memory AND the SD card - that would be ideal - almost like a windows shortcut in the wii channels that "points" back to the SD card instead of the Wii internal memory.

    I'm sure one of the guys who writes these mods/hacks can easily come up with something like that.

    Just use Triiforce, it's like a backup loader that runs Wiiware/VC games in an emulated NAND environment that can be run off SD or USB. There's no risk of banner bricking either. You could install 1000s of games and leave your Wii pristine.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
