Hi, I have/had 3.4U and softmodded my Wii using the Softmodding for Dummies guide V4.1.
The backup Wii and Gamecube Channels work perfectly fine, but I am wondering how to get onto the Wii shop. It says i need to update, but im assuming if i update itll take away my stuff.
I want to access the wii shop to get the internet browser and some VC games.
if anyone could help thatd be fantastic. also, im kind of a noob, so if you could maybe not use a lot of fancy words i would appreciate that
PS: is there any hombrew or just n64 emulator channel like the wii or gamecube one?
i have over 60 n64 games id like to play on wii.
You can safely update to the newest shop channel by doing this:

N64 Channel? You mean Virtual Consoles. These are games from older consoles such as N64 that are installed as channels and need a gamecube controller or classic controller.

when i extract the Wii shop channel file (from the link u sent) where do i put it on the sandisk. i put the whole folder that got extracted into apps but that didnt work.
Your SD Card should look like this:
/apps/WiiShop and IOS61 Installer/boot.dol
Can someone send me the exact download file for Homebrew channel and Ocarina? Please?
