Homebrew Channel upside down and NeoGamma Issues

    Hi all,

Having a strange issue and i hope someone can help me...

    Here`s the history so far...

Stock Jap Wii on 3.2J converted to 3.2U with twilight / anyregion.
Bannerbombed and Bootmii installed, dump of nand performed.
Ran through DogEggs procedure and now running on 4.1U
    Installed USBLoaderGX as a channel

    Issues:
    1. After i ran the trucha but part on DogEgg`s procedure the HomeBrew channel becomes upside down. If i replace IOS36 for an earlier version it fixes it but GX is unstable.. *** Update - Completely removed Homebrew channel, re-installed using bannerbomb, after install updated to 1.06, working fine ***
    2. When trying to do the DOL redirect for wii sports resort i launch Neogamma R7 but when i click on mount WBFS the app hangs, when i go back into GX theirs a huge delay before it comes up, it only does this once if i launch NeoGamma, apart from that it seems to work fine but i cannot perform the dol redirect and get Resort going

    Please help

    Cheers,

Do you have the external USB HDD plugged into the outermost USB port? (Use the one on the bottom or left depending on your Wii placement)

When you formatted the WBFS drive, the WBFS partition should have been designated as active and primary

I presume your HDD is compatible with the Wii and not an former internal HDD placed into an enclosure?

    hiya,

Yeah, the drive has been in use with another PAL wii for the last 12 months, it`s a Sammy F1 1TB and has been faultless until using with this converted Jap wii... Wondering if something like Neogamma has affected the allocation table though logically it shouldnt. Will swap the drive tonight for another just in case their`s any smart or other issues. Oh yes bottom port as always

    cheers,

Good call on re-installing the homebrew channel. That is the only way I could fix that issue. Apparently Team Twiizers doesn't like us using Trucha. They actually did the upside-down bug on purpose, its in their change log since like version 1.3 or 1.4.

As for the NeoGamma, I might suggest updating that to version R8. It works great for me, but I have to admit I haven't ever tried to change the Wii region like you did.

    Good Luck.
