Question Cios, error -1 & the annoying rockband drums!

    Hi all,

First time post so forgive me if I miss any details.

I successfully softmodded my wii from a 4.2 PAL virgin, and now currently have:

    version 3.2E
    Home brew channel
Neo Gamma v7 installed and happily running backup ISO dvd's,
(according to files seen on anytitledeleter app)the following IOS:
    IOS 249, IOS 37, 57,56,70,61,55,53,51,50,38,16,10,60,36,28,22,14,35 ,34,33,31,21,
    20,17,15,13,12,11,30.
    (Mios) Gamecube OS
    (sysmenu) system menu
    (ios9) :IOS 9
    (ios4): IOS 4

Ok so that's what I have, and as I said, backup ISO wii disks working good so far.

Just bought Rockband 1 drums with USB connection hard wired. Have read millions of posts about having to "install custom IOS37 with IOS37 rev7 dip as IOS 232" and get the infamous error returned 1067 (or whatever it says) with the -1 code at the end.

All I want to know is what I need to do to get the instruments working.

I have tried 4 links and guides on here which give different ways to put ios 37 onto IOS 232 but get those error codes.

S|o please, if anyone out there can tell me why I get the error codes, how to add the custom IOS, get the rockband drums to be recognised, and still do all this using backup ISO discs, I will buy them a pint!

It's been days of trying new things, and if needs be will delete all the files I put on there and start again from wherever someone advises me to.

Is it too much to ask to want to play drums for free on the wii? lol

Many thanks to you all in advance.

Hair pulled out and awaiting your help

    Mr Newbie!

    Mr Newbie, (LOL)
What was the reason for downgrading from 4.2?
It sounds as if you have installed the wrong IOS somewhere with all of that crap you installed on your Wii.
    Try Herms......

    Hi wiidoggii,

I was informed that version 3.2 was the best system to run off for backup ISO games, also this was highlighted in many threads regarding getting RB instruments to work, I just followed the guides.....

I have hermes multi CIOS loader and this dows nothing to fix the RB instrument nightmare.

    Any further ideas?

Someone must have the answers I need!

Modified SoftChip that works for Rock Band - GBAtemp.net

But the link for the CIOS installer is broken. I personally can't find anything, but I have GH 5, Band Hero, and RB2 working - as well as metallica, van halen and every track pack

Just tried it, you need to have a modified IOS 37 file as specified in the link. PM'd author to relink.
