Guitar Hero 5 -- SDHC Not Recognised

I have tried the following SDHC cards but none of them can be detected by GH5 even though the first three are seen by the Wii and can run homebrew apps:

    ADATA 16GB (Class 6)
    Sandisk 8GB (Class 2)
    Toshiba 8GB (Class 4)
    Kingston 16Gb (Class 4)
    Kingston 8GB (Class 4)

    System Menu 4.1U
    IOS 56 v5146
    IOS 222 v4
    IOS 223 v4
    IOS 232 v7
    IOS 249 v14

I have loaded the game through both USBLoader GX and Softchip (R99) but still no detection of SDHC in game. I have also tried FAT formatting the cards several times with various settings in Panasonic SD Formatter v2.00.

Is this a known problem or am I being extremely unlucky with SDHC cards?

I still haven't been able to resolve this issue and have noticed that the same problem exists when I try to detect SDHC in Rock Band The Beatles.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Funny you should say that because I am currently in the (long) process of using WBFS v3 drive to drive facility to transfer my backups to a new 500Gb HD.

I have created two partitions on it, one is WBFS and one is Fat32. Are you saying I should try putting my GH/RB save data on the fat32 HD partition or that I should try formatting the SDHC using WBFS?

You're trying to use the SDHC card to save DLC, right?

I haven't tried with GH5, but it doesn't work with RB2 - even if you're running the actual retail disc. They don't seem to support SDHC, just plain vanilla SD cards.

TB:RB and GH5 both support SDHC just fine from the retail discs. "Rock Band 2" is the only offender, I believe.

Thanks for the suggestions, yes I am trying to transfer my DLC for both RB:TB and GH5 to a single SDHC.

So basically the SDHC functionality for these games won't work when loading backups through a USB loader? any idea technically why this is the case and if there is a workaround?

Beats me, but I'm not spending too much time worrying about it. The only DLC I have so far is for RB2, and it won't support SDHC anyway, so I've resigned myself to having to live with a regular SD card.

I think the problem is that we are using Cios with ios37+ ios38 (this is for use the usb port) but we need having a cios with capability of use ios37+ios38+ios60 (for work with usb port and SDHC)
