I'm using Softchip to load RB3 from disc and it works great with all instruments and dlc off an SD card. When I try to use a working SDHC card (the wii sees is, but RB3 says it's an invalid card) it won't work.

The post above about ios37+ios38+ios60 seems to make some sense, so did anyone solve the problem of allowing SDHC support while still allowing access to the USB (for the instruments)?

    Your help is greatly appreciated!
OK - I got RB3 to recognize the SDHC card - I installed cIOSX rev20b. UNFORTUNATELY, I lost my USB instruments in the process so the game is unplayable.

Can anybody tell me how to have both the SDHC and the instruments working at the same time? I really appreciate it!

What ios base used to detect the sdhc?

As I understand it, ios60 allows the sdhc.

Did you guys ever figure out a solution to this? I have been having a hell of a time getting the USB keyboard to work along with DLC on my card. I can have either/or but not both. The DLC will show up, but be expired and not playable if I have the keyboard working.

    Hello,

does anybody have an update about this?

My 8GB SDHC card can be read via WII menu, but not in GH 5 or 6 when loaded in USB loader. I found this issue being common on several forums, but no solution.

I have Hermes v4 installed on IOS 223 (v5 and v.51 will cause a black screen).

A non SDHC card with 2GB works just fine in those games.

    Thx

I'm having the same problems with my cards. All my WiiWare and VC work fine from the System Menu, but things get ugly in RB3 and GH6 through USB Loader GX. Under RB3, I get the message that "there is add-on content on the in the system that must be moved to the SD card." But the progress bar always fills to the end and returns me an "Unknown Error" message. This only occurs with anything over the Kingston 2GB SD I originally used.

have you tried loading the game with a cIOS that has a base of IOS56? GH5 and 6 work fine for me with IOS223 but I do not use the SD card with those games, I think that IOS56 was introduced with GH Metallica and allowed your DLC to go to the SD card. I would try loading the game with cIOS rev20 or 21 (base of 56). I'm not saying it will work but it's worth a try.

Hi again. I actually run all the music games with cIOS 223 or 222 if it acts up under the former.

    Hello,
I only got GH 5 and 6 working through IOS 223 with Hermes v4.
From what I understand IOS Base 37 is necessary for music games.
But IOS 60 (or others) are needed for SHDC support, and I found no way to use both.
So if anybody got GH5 or GH6 running through USB Loader (or other Loader) with SDHC support I would aprreciate feedback.
    Thx

+1 to this. I was really hoping USB Loader GX 2.0 would finally support SDHC, but I can't seem to find any note in the documentation. That would've been a really nice touch, if it were there. :-)
