Exclamation How to uninstall cIOSCORP v3.4 without HBC

Hello, I have gotten myself into a little awkward situation here..
When I tried to hack a 4.0E Wii from a friend, I followed this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

I installed Bootmii and HBC, changed some IOS's, installed Pre-loader, NEOGamma R7, and I didn't get my burnt games to work. For some reason I thought "maybe I can get my games to work after I've installed cIOSCORP 3.4" and so I installed it, and my games still didn't work.
So I decided "screw it, i'll hack this Wii like I did with my own Wii last week" and I updated to 4.2E via Nintendo's update. When I did this with my own Wii, I just had to do the bannerbomb 4.2 thingie, install hbc through the bootmii-menu, and I was up and running. I followed this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tem-menus.html

However, because I installed cIOSCORP I can't get bootmii to run. So I must uninstall cIOSCORP 3.4.

    I found this topic http://www.wiihacks.com/general-home...em-format.html
It told me to use bannerbomb to execute the cIOSCORP 3.4 Uninstaller. I got a Wii with serial number LEH..... so I needed this version of the uninstaller:
Downloads - Wii Homebrew Apps - cIOSCORP Uninstaller (Normal)

I downed it, put it on my SD card, along with Bannerbomb4.2, I put the boot.dol from the uninstaller in the root of the card, loaded bannerbomb on my Wii and I got a black screen after I clicked "ok (or yes, or load, or whatever there is to choose when you load the SD card)".

So now what? Try the LUH64-version of the cIOSCORP uninstaller?

Please try to help me I promised my girlfriend's kid brother that I would hack his Wii and I now sort of have messed up bigtime

You do not have to UN-install Cioscorp in order to install BOOTMII.

    Look : http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...installed.html

For some reason I didn't do that, but I can't remember why..
So I just load up my WAD manager using bannerbomb and apply/install the wad that's given in the other thread, and that's it? That sounds almost to easy, but I'll give it a try

    Thanks.

Trust me LOL, all you are doing is replacing the WAD file that Ciosccorp has installed( doesn't allow hackmii to run) with the original WAD from ninty( that does require Hackmii installer to run :-) )

I tried both methods but when I try to uninstall ciocorp in 4.2 I get a black screen, and whenI use the wad manager it freezes. All because I did a system format, now I am stuck and advice or a guide I can follow?

wad manager, hackmii (bootmii), bannerbomb, anyother app blackscreen what should i do if i am trying to uninstall every app is not working.
    ~lain

p.s. i should mention that i am currently in 3.4u and i did the new 3.1-4.1 softmod for any Wii tutorial eventually leading to the optional cIOSCORP, optional install, and DVDX.

also i did make a backup NAND but when i try to restore it gives me an error and tells me to press abxy to continue. I Realized that i should have updated long ago on this tutorial but taught since this was a new wii about a week old it was new firmware. >.<

    thanks again

What are you trying to do exactly?

Is your bootmii installed as boot2 or ios?

All apps load to black screen?

    Can you play games?

OK, download cboot2_wadmanager_1.5_mod.zip and extract to a formatted sd-card
    Download IOS34-64-v3087.wad
    IOS36-64-v3090.wad
    Save in sd:\wad

Boot the wii, wadmanger should start. Use a gc-controller to install the above ios. Then run some apps and see if the load.

If you have any issues runCB2_BB_SignCheck.zip and post the cvs file here when done.

Mine started doing the black screens today when I installed the cisocorp 3.5 Extra Pack - Metroid Fix

cboot does me no good since my wii is not loading the startup.elf on boot and the sign check is no good since any apps we run goes to a black screen.

I do have a good copy of my nand backup though, just not sure if I should run it or not, the back up is before I installed the 4.1 update.
