Us If It Isn't Broke Don't Fix...

A common adage here in the states referencing the fact that one should not go about screwing with something if its functions fit said person's needs.

I however am ignoring this sound advice and have come seeking the advice of the many wise members of this board.

Here's my situation. I am currently running SYSMENU 3.2E using NeoGamma R7 and GamecubeBackupLauncher 0.2 for all of my backup booting needs. I do not have BootMii installed as my Wii model will only allow ISO install and not BOOT2 (I have been considering Preloader as an option). I have no problem booting any of the games I have, Gamecube or Wii. My WiiMotion+ and Rock Band accessories work flawlessly. Basically it functions exactly as I need it to (I do very little in the way of Homebrew/WAD installs).

So my question is...."Is it recommended that use Waniniko's firmware installers to update to 4.0+?" If so, should i go for 4.0, 4.1, or 4.2?

As of now I have seen no reason to as everything I need to do can be done on my current setup. However I am not an expert in the Wii scene quite yet and am unaware of any particular benefits to updating from 3.2 to 4.0+

    Please enlighten me...

I think you will get various bits of advice on this, depending who its from.
My case 3.2E best to leave it there.
I think most of the mods here will say update to 4.1.
Never update to 4.2, I think we all agree on that.

If you don't have bootmii as boot2 you could upgrade to 4.1 no boot2 there anyway, and will give you an extra function to run games from the new type SD cards.
