Preloader and HBC 1.0.5

hey i have a minor problem that is annoying me right now
i just updated my wii to 4.1 using waninkokos updater. i also installed the new hbc (1.0.5) and bootmii as an ios (since my new boot1 doesnt let me install it as boot2 :mad:). after doing all this and making a backup of my NAND, i also decided to install preloader, to have the brick protection together with bootmii. everything worked fine so far, preloader boots before the system menu does. however, when i try to load the HBC, it says "error loading HBC. maybe title not installed?"

what am i doing wrong??

Preloader was designed to load the Channel with the ID: HAXX from the NAND which is usually homebrew but the newer homebrew channel has a different ID and Preloader may not find it.

is there any workaround??
because there is no reason in having preloader if it cant load hbc and therefore bootmii... :(

i hate the new boot1 !!!!!!!

You need to find a .wad for hbc v1.0.1 - v1.0.4. Any should work.

Here is a link to an earlier HBC. If you have the updated bootmii that will link only to the new HBC, if you use that feature.
I have the updated HBC and updated bootmii, my preloader goes to the system menu, HBC is a channel from there.

i see this is a thread about a patched preloader that will load the JODI hbc:
Preloader v0.29 - JODI Patched - GBAtemp.net

so far so good.. next question: how do i install the new preloader?? :S do i have to go through all the work again, installing a system menu wad and ios60? sry i am obviously not the expert in this topic.. will installing a system menu wad completely restore my wii to a "virgin" 4.1u?

I have done this a few times, reloading the system menu removes preloder, then reinstall with a wad.
No, reinstalling the system menu will not make your wii a virgin, infact you won't lose anything.
