pre loader issues

ok, I was hacking a friends wii and noticed that his preloader had limited options. So I read a little and figured it was the .ini file. So I took mine and copied it onto his. Nope, nothin.

edit: mine now has same issue. fixed and installed preloader

mine
(in HBC)menu 1.0.3 IOS61 v19.26

his is the same in HBC

both preloaders IOS v60
systemmenu v449 preloader v0.29, had limited settings but now has no settings.

I followed this guide [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register] for his and it worked wonders. I updated my wii and now it has no preloader settings so I'm in the same boat :/

probably best to ask whoever wrote the guide then!

There are plenty of much better guides already on this forum, reading them would be a good place to start and may shed some light on your problems. Most of what you ask has probably been answered in the guides already.

haha, will do. I'll look again. I got the preloader back up on mine, just have to get those options in and I'll be set

different hacks ini are used fo different sysmenus, mind that. you can use the same unless you are both on the same sys menu

use a tool like unix2dos to change the linebreak format.

wait is it the file? it's exe but has unix2dos for a name. If it's not the ini I can't use it

I need someone to upload the system menu hacks ini file for systemmenu v449. I am using preloader v0.29

I mean I get what they're saying but on my end it's no different then me copying and pasting into an ini file
