Did you format the SD card to WBFS?

Are you trying to read the card if so you are going to need a program called WBSF manager.

That's why your PC can't see the card. WBFS format allows the Wii to see and use the card, not the PC. The card is now dedicated to the Wii. If you need to work with the WBFS-formatted card from your PC, install WBFS manager on your PC-you can transfer an ISO from the PC HDD to the SD card using WBFS Mgr.

No its not bad because thats what it needs to be to be read by the USB Loader and as dr34m3r stated you need a WBFS manager on your PC to open it.

I use the WBFS Manager found at the bottom of this page.

    Downloads (USB Loader GX)
