    help HBC not installing after system format

    i had to format my wii because i kept on getting errors so after i formatted it i can't seem to install HBC it always says " installer cannot continue" there is no known vulnerable ios installed on this wii. please note that we will not use a fakesigned ios due to some reasons. and other stuff.

    please help my system is 4.1u it was once softmodded

    you installed cIOScorp, didnt you?

    Your wii has cIOScorp on it. This modifies the the IOS's on your system to be all fake. The hackmii installer will not install and formating your wii does not overwrite these faked ios's. You need to uninstall cioscorp. Please search the forum for recent threads on how to solve this issue.

    i just tried to install the HBC and i get the same message

    did you uninstall cIOScrap first?

    you really have screwed this up, havent you?

    do you have preloader or bootmii?

    if not then the only thinkg i can think of is to use bannerbomd, but replace the boot.dol with the cIOScrap uninstaller. and PRAY!

    That is the only way for him to do it right now. Get the uninstaller .dol and replace it with the hackmii.elf. Run the bannerbomb and there you go.

    @davepm: I just made that a few seconds ago because we are getting a lot of this posts about the vulnerable ios in the hackmii installer.
