    Unhappy PreLoader .29 - I made a huge mistake! Help :S

I'm not awesome at this homebrew stuff, i've downgraded, upgraded and a lot of things, but always by using guides.

I have: System 4.1E (homebrewed) with NeoGamma R6 & R7, but trying to play a Backup of Guitar Hero 5, this was not enough.

Found another guide, installed some stuff, including Preloader .29.

Had NO IDEA how PreLoader works, so while in the preloader menu, stupid as I was, I installed "boot.dol" in Preloader, and now, everytime I start my wii, instead of going to the Preloader screen (which i never understood anyway), i get the "WARNING" screen of the hackMii program!!

By Zeus's beard, what the hell have I done?! I'm knee deep in dog muck and would be eternally grateful if one of you told me how to bring my wii back to it's senses (and knocked some sense into me aswell!)

You've probably set the preloader to autoboot to the dol for the hackmii installer. Just hold the reset button on your wii while booting up the wii and it should take you to the preloader menu. Just change the autoboot setting to System Menu and that should solve it.

    You sir, have my thanks!!!

It worked, and I'm sooo relieved...

    But if I can be so rude to ask another question;

Following the guide I've been using, I have now installed all the necessary IOS, CIOS, preloader etc to play GH5, but am i supposed to launch my backup from Preloader? I can't seem to understand how :S

No, you need a backup loader. If you are using hard drive:
    USB Loader GX

    If you are using discs:
    Neogamma R7

apps can be found by searching the site or using google.

Damn, I wrote a long and explaining reply, but got error sending it xO
    Let's try again:

I have both NeoGamma R6 and NeoGamma R7, IOS 248 (Rev 14) installed aswell, I think I have everything in order to be able to play it. (My backup of Muramasa works perfectly, and so atleast i Know that R7 works)

I start the R7 launcher with the disc inside, but get sent straight to the R7 config screen. I press the "Launch Game on DVD" button, but after a short "Launching game" message, I get:

    DVD Read Error (1101)

Maybe I have to burn another copy.. what do you think?

Are you burning the iso on DVD-R and not DVD+R and at a low speed such as 2x?

    Err, no :$
I have burned all my backups as DVD+R on 8x speed :$

But I've never had any trouble before, all my backups have worked perfectly.

Maybe that's all there is to it? I'll try burning it on 2x speed, and if that doesn't work, I'll buy some DVD-R discs and try again ^^

    Thanks for all your help!

    You sir, are awesome!
