Neogamma error after error - Please help

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum, and I would very much appricate any elp that I can get. PLEASE, i've started pulling out my wn hair.

I am in the process of trying to softmod my Wii. I have got stuck and no matter what I try, can not get part this stage.

I have PAL Wii, with fimware 4.1E. I downloaded and installed hackmii so now I have Homebrew and dvdx installed. I also have Mplayer CE to watch DVDs. DVDs are running fine. I have neogamma R7 installed and WAD Manager 1.4. Also, I have the Back up channel.

I have two games on Sony DVD-Rs. These games are Sonic and the secret rings and big beach games (so something like that).

Here is the problem. If I try and load a back up game via the back up channel, I just get a black screen.

When I load neogamma, just before the start menu, I get the error message:
    "You Are not using IOS249,
If you know what you are doing, OK, all Others
    Install A CIOS"

Then if I move past this stage, and when I try and "Load from DVD", I get the error message:
    "Disk error (1101), No CIOS"

At the bottom of the main neogamma menu screen, it says i'm using:
    Neogamma R7 CIOS36 (Rev 3094)

I have a CIOS, so wy does it say that I do not.
guys, Please help me out. I wanna get this sorted asap. I need my wii running back ups.

    thank you

I think you need to install cIOS 249 Rev14. A simple search will find you that. Usually the guides, direct you to install this.

    hi Median,

Right, I downloaded the file and uppacked it. As it say in the read me file,

I took the "cIOS38_rev14-Installer.dol" file and pasted it to the SD's root. I placed the SD card in the Wii. I started homebrew channel, then loaded the LoadMii application, then I selected "cIOS38_rev14-Installer.dol" from the list of files in the root of the SD card.

Now sometime it runs and opens the installer, but before I can do anything, the controller turns off, and you can not turn it back on (unless you restart the system). or the CIOS installer does not run at all, and I get a black sreen with code all down it in white text.

any ideas what is going on? am I trying it install it wrong or something???

Tried loading it from HBC? I don't see why you are loading it through LoadMii when you just can make a folder in apps called cIOS38r14 and paste the dol file in there and rename it to boot.dol.

    hi Median,

Ok, I placed the CIOS38Rev14 installer file a new folder in the app folder on my SD card. The installer started up and ran. I made sure that the file cIOS38-64-3610.wad file was on the root on my sd card.

When then installer runs, I selected IOS38 from the left/right movable list. I installed as a WAD Installeration. The program runns and installs mostly everything successfully. but at the last hurdle titled "installing Custom IOS, please wait....." I get an install error (ret = -2011)

what does this mean, and how do I move forward from here??

    thank you

    HI GUYS

I just tried to restart my Wii and I was presented with the following screen (see attachment). No menu, no nothing! You press the power button and only this screen comes up. also, my Wii controllers are dead (in the sense that, when you press the power button on the Wiimote, the lights at the bottom flash about 5-6 tims and the controller turns off)

WHAT THE HELL HAVE I DONE!!!!

    HELP PLEASE
