seems that this is still buggy and won't work correctly. There is a new jumpstart game been released that works fine.

Has anyone heard of a possible solution for this issue? Everyone has the same issue. We have some great minds around here, who can identify and solve this issue right away. The game obviously needs something to get going or else all game developers would adapt the same concept. Anybody?

Wow, oldy/moldy thread --- but still true to this day in my experience. Thus far, I've seen no solutions presented. I will leave the thread open.

    Question necromancy...

I'm resurrecting this old thread because I'm confused with how I'm supposed to load Jumpstart: Pet Rescue. According to a compatibility list, I need to do the following:

Use the cIOS rev21d2x5-beta1 with base 56 and Neogamma or CFG. Select the new "Block IOS Reload" option and it works on a WBFS formatted drive.
I've tried a few different combinations of different IOS (249, 250, etc), both with "Block IOS Reload" on and off, and with both a DVD-R and a WBFS-formatted SD card (I don't yet have a USB drive because I'm researching a suitable enclosure for any of the IDE hard drives I have lying around), and nothing seems to work. I've tried NeoGamma, USB CFG Loader, WiiFlow, etc. I just recently followed the MauiFrog tutorial (after hard-modding a few years back, then soft-modding a year or two ago) to make sure that I'm up-to-date, but I can't seem to think I'm missing something relatively simple. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

p.s. I'm attaching a syscheck here as well, just in case it's of any use:

So I've got a compatible USB drive, now, and it'll load every single game I've tried so far, with the exception of Jumpstart:PR. It does the same thing as when I was trying the disc with NeoGamma - just a black screen. Instead of hearing the disc spin a little, I see the activity light on my USB drive flash a little, then: nothing. I just tried installing d2x v7 (final) with various bases to 247/248/249 to see if that would fix anything, but still the same. Can anyone help?
