Thread: I seem to be stuck on 4.0?

I need some expert help here.

I have an older Wii, which is hard modded (WiiClip).

It has been working well, but I had to do a system upgrade a while back to get to 4.0 for some of the newer games.

(except at that point it was to upgrade to 4.0, not 4.1)

So all was fine until I tried to play Wii Sports Resort.

I was getting the "An error has occurred. Press eject button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii Console off and refer to the wii operations manual for help troubleshooting" message.

And decided to go ahead with cIOSCORP as that seemed to be the way to go.

I installed v3.3, and it says all the IOS updates were successful.

Unfortunately it still does not allow me to boot WSR, so I decided to go ahead and update to 4.1, using the new tutorial.

To do this I had to update HomeBrew Channel (I just did the 1.03 update without installing BootMii).

Unfortunately as soon as I try to install ios249, I get a -1 error and it kicks me out.

Am I stuck?

It looks like installing cIOSCORP wasn't the way to go.

I'm not sure where to turn now, so I hope one of the experts can help me!
