    BootMii problem

Mine says that Bootmii 1 prevents bootmii 2, but I installed it anyway. So that does mean that bootmii2 is working, because I can launch it using HC. However, I have one problem: I don't have a GC controller. I need to use the power and reset botton on the wii, but it does not seem to respond. I guess Bootmii 2 is not installed? Please help!
Official site say that it can't be fixed. -_-' I just want to know if it's working. I guess the best way to test it is to buy a controller?

You sure you didn't word it wrong? Does the Hackmii installer say that the Wii' boot1 is preventing the installation of Bootmii as boot2? Meaning that you can only install it as an IOS that is only accessible through the HBC? Bootmii IOS needs a GC controller. Bootmii/Boot2 can be operated by both the console buttons or GC controller.

Wii' manufactured during late 2008 have the new boot1 that prevents Bootmii as boot2. So that may be your problem.

Nintendo' most inspired core game titles are stuck overseas. Nintendo Of America sux when it comes to the localization of these game titles as they court with their new found casual gamer/soccer mom audience this console generation. Thus indirectly promoting the growth of Homebrewing & basically telling their core audience if they want it, mod chip or Homebrew it. Thanks Nintendo! My Wii and its functionalities have never felt more complete than when I took my first sip of the Brew. - Brewaholic

BootMii-boot2 is only available on pre 2008 Wii's. If you have the folder bootmii on your SD card the Wii will boot straight into the loader.
I suspect you have bootmii ios, not that good really, install preloader at least.

They don't work in IOS version, you must use GC controller. Says so on the bootmii site. And i Quote

Use a GC pad in port 1 to navigate the menu. If you don't have one, you can use the Power button to cycle through options in the menu, and Reset to select. You just need to briefly press each button. Note: a bug in BootMii/IOS currently prevents this from working, sorry.

Yes boot2 will remain unless you choose to uninstall it. Just make a NAND backup so you can return to it.
