I thought that this would work for me, but the software only looks for ciso files and not the separate .001 .002 .003 file formats.
Any tips on how to get these separate files joined into one ciso/ iso using pismo?

    Pismo Technic Inc.

you need their stuff to extract it probably.

WHY anyone would use it rather than rar/zip i have no idea!

7zip should do it. Winrar also should do it.

Once you have the extracted ciso load it using wbfs intelligent gui to convert to ISO. or something.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

You need an app called "hjsplit", it will put the parts together. When you run the app, by default it will select the .001, that's the only file you need to select, the app will do the rest.

I even used it on cso files, works great. hjsplit will not recognize the parts if the two zeros are not there. It looks like your parts are the correct format.

Just wanted to reply back to say that hjsplit solved my problem. I hadn't used that program before and wasn't familiar with it.
Thanks to all that offered their input here to help out a new Wii owner.

Yup. a simple program like hjsplit will solve your problem. If i may add, if you use a program like jdownloader to download your cISO files, it will automatically join your 00x files into one cISO file after downloading all parts of that file

jdownloader is another program I'm not familiar with. Thanks for the heads up on that. It's also nice to see that it's open source software.

JDownloader is the best download program currently available in the market today. It has captcha recognition capability (i.e. no more need to enter 4-letter checks of megaupload), it can also automatically download DLC links. It also gives you the ability to just copy a list of links and paste it into jdownloader. If the uploader gives you a page link containing part links for a particular file, you do not need to click every part link, all you need to do is to copy the page link and paste it to jdownloader! Amazing.

Unfortunately, jdownloader is having some problems with mediafire right now but its team of coders have promised that this will be fixed in the next update. In the meantime, im using Rapiddownloader.
