Did you register your Wii online when you got it. For those product registrations the system gets an extra 90 days added I think. The product registration warranty extension doesn't apply to factory repaired system warranty though they can still be registered.

This last repair of mine was covered under a warranty from a previous repair I had done back in March. Each repair receives a new full years warranty. Nintendo covers the cost of every thing when under warranty the package is even insured after putting the shipping label on it. All it takes is the repair setup itself and then printing out the shipping label.
Nintendo' most inspired core game titles are stuck overseas. Nintendo Of America sux when it comes to the localization of these game titles as they court with their new found casual gamer/soccer mom audience this console generation. Thus indirectly promoting the growth of Homebrewing & basically telling their core audience if they want it, mod chip or Homebrew it. Thanks Nintendo! My Wii and its functionalities have never felt more complete than when I took my first sip of the Brew. - Brewaholic

So will I be under warranty or not, do you think?

What messie said is correct, installing homebrew voids the the warranty.
