Yes yooya95 is right, cIOS249 rev 14 is required. When you choose your drive chck the compatability list first, USB Devices Compatibility List - WikiTemp
You will also need to format it with WBFS manager.
I use this setup and its superb.
Thanks for your help but i ran into another issue my little brother formatted my my usb arrrrrgggghhhh so now i have to do it all over again (my older brother bannerbombed my usb and hes gone) i have another question now that i have to do it all over again i downloaded a copy of Guitar Hero 5 and it wants to update my system should i do it? any help you can give me would be great
Do not do any system updates. If you want to update your system to a specific version use a wad. Do you have preloader, if so set that to skip system updates, then you won't get that message. Have you goy your HDD formatted again.
ok thanks for telling yes i got my usb formatted and its ready to if you could point me in the right direction the would be great. one other thing i noticed that the hb channel still comes up on my wii channels but when i click it it doesnt do anything is it supposed to do that
Did you have a backup of your SD card, usually would on your PC, copy thar structure to your SD card. That should be it, if it was only your SD card that was tampered with.
If your sytem has been and you don't know what or how, you may have to start again.
Did you get your USB loader working before the mishap.
This guide by dogeggs is really good.
no i didnt get a chance to see if all the suggestions i got work i think im gonna start from scratch thanks for the link ill let you know how it turns out
