    Bricked wii

My friend tried to soft-mod his wii, but it couldnīt play any games, so he decided to reinstall "some stuff" .

When he restarted his wii he got the messege that the system files where damaged.
When he restarted the wii again, there was only Black Screen. And no connection to the controllers.. Is the wii totally damaged?

Can anyone help with this problem, please?

    Some stuff???

Seems like you might be in "some trouble" - Didn't get a chance to backup your NAND?

Might have to send back to Nintendo - suck as you've changed the software you've voided your warranty. $$$ to fix

    Best of luck

What did you guys installed or remove?

Try holding reset when booting the system ?? May do something if the right Bootmii is installed ?

Take a boo around this website you may find something to help - My guess is your chances are non but again I know nothing

Try and find out what files he tried to install it may give someone a better picture of what could be done, if at all possible.

    Cheers,

I'll check back here to see if there is anything I can advise - I'll even take a boo around the WWW to see if I can come up with anything - Again I know nothing - just modified mine with no errors and have continued to update without any problems - so good here on my own system but I give no advise to weather it will be the same with other wii's.
