Darn... Wish I would have known that first.
Will my VR still be kept from Mario Kart when I go onto WFC?
Another question: I have like 2 160GB hard drives lying around. Would it be worth it to convert all my games into ISO's and put them on the hard drive, or would it just be best to stick with the DVDs? I don't mind loading times... Just thought it may be easier to skip all the menu patcher/backup loader junk.
savemanager can back up copy protected saves flawlessly.

just get a usb loader (i prefer configurable usb loader, some prefer usb loader GX, you can even use neogamma), grab a copy of WBFS to format/transfer the iso's or use the usb loader to dump your DVD's to HDD (hell of a lot quicker than on your pc, and works with originals too!)
I thought the quickest way to dump DVDs it to get the wiihttp server thing and dump it through wifi? Took me 3 hours... Is it a lot quicker?!?!? If so, I WANNA DO IT! Have AIM or anything?
Just finished getting 4.1 the way I want it. About to follow the tutorial now.
its _slightly_ quicker to dump to USB.
Longest i had was about 20minutes, shortest 50 seconds
I think you should help me out . Just finished homebrewing to 4.1. All seems fine.
I actually REALLY wanna start loading games from my hard drive(s) .
Got everything working again. Here' s a low-down of what I've done:
+ Was originally on 3.2U
+ Formatted the Wii to factory settings.
+ Updated to 4.1U using the Wii System Update thing.
+ Followed this guide to get homebrewed again: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html
+ Installed a couple different backup loaders, menu patchers, and also got USB Loader GX.
Right now I'm dumping my copy of Mario Kart Wii to my 105GB partition on one of my external hard drives:

It took ALL DAY to do everything but I guess it's worth it. Can't wait to have super fast loading times on all my games.
