    Lightbulb Q regarding Strange Brickblock

I recently read about the updates from an NTSC Disk on a PAL machine is bad news, so i decided to download brickblocker and try it out with success.

On inserting the game however, I noticed that it now appears in the Disk channel where before it would just be an unrecognised disk.

I avoided pressing start in the disk channel for fear of something bad happening, but would my fears be realised if I had pressed start or not?

P.S. I don't have preloader set to play from disk channel, but is there another program I could use to enable me to play from disk channel?

    Enough rambling. lol

You can not put diesel fuel in a gasoline car.
So why would you even try to update with an out of region disk..
PLEASE SEARCH, READ, AND THINK BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.

I think you misread the post.

I used brick blocker to 'remove' the updates from the iso, and as a result, the game now appears in the disk channel (and dosnt prompt to update).

So my question was: Is it safe to launch from the disk channel?

Oh and FYI it was a pal game for a pal machine.

I was going by this statement......
NTSC disk on a pal machine = out of region.

I tried many times with Brick Blocker for PAL games to work on my NTSC machine and all are working fine. I downloaded PAL games then use Brick blocker to remove update and using on my 4.1 U and all are working fine.

I do not think so there will be any difference on NTSC to PAL.
