Downloading Songs For Guitar Hero World Tour?

Hi there, this is my first post here.

I am in a bit of a pickle. I own Guitar Hero World Tour. I own a modified Wii which I think is running the hacked 3.2 version at the moment, meaning that I have to use the Homebrew Channel to play the game. I had the custom firmware of the Wii updated so that I could play this game. However, when I try to download songs for the game, I am told I need to buy Wii Points from the Shop Channel. The only problem is that I get told (by the Shop Channel) that my Wii's firmware needs to be 4.0 to use the Shop Channel. I was wondering if there was anyway around this problem or would the only way be to wait for version 4.0 to be hacked? Because if I were to overwrite the custom firmware, I couldnt play any of my games as they are all PAL format (and hacked) whereas my Wii is in NTSE format.

    Thanks

You need to update the wii shop channel software.

    find these files and install:

    IOS61-64-NUS-v4890.wad and RVL-Shopping-NUS-v16.wad

should update the shopping channel for you and everything should work

I can't remember where I found the files but I can look for you if you can't find them - Let me know

Use Wad Manager through home brew channel and instlall wads.

Check out this tread as well - might be of some value for you
