Problem with backup loader - noob here

hi guys, sorry if this is the wrong section to post this or if i'm saying something wrong, the truth is i'm a noob around here and I have a problem in my wii.

    The problem is as follows:

Till yesterday my wii was a virgin, I have it for almost 2 years and I dont give her many use, so I wanted to hack it so i could play some games right now. My wii was updated to de last firmware, 4.1e i guess ( I made the update two days agor and I think "e" stands for european ).

The problem is I didnt know about this forum and about you guys, like I said I'm a noob about all this hack wii stuff, so I searched for tuturials and youtube videos, and I found this video ->

I followed the tuturial and my wii is working fine, the problem is Backup Loader doesn't load any backups ( only tried two, mario galaxy and FF CC echoes of time ). I tried also homebrew channel, it opens, I can see the apps, but i tried super mario wars and it crashed, I sh*t my pants thinking my wii briked and never tried it after.

So I was looking for help, on how to fix this problem or if needed to turn my wii back to normal. thanks in advance.

( sorry if i the text is too long )

edit: I found out my homebrew channel is working just fine and my backup channel can load my wiisports ( original ) but cant load my backups, those backups are recorded at 2x and 3x in memorex discs.

come on guys what am i doing wrong or what do I have to install/uninstall

    hi

I tried Verbatim burned at 2x with Imgburn and still does not work :/

when I start backup loader, the screen goes all black, the wii keeps trying to read the disc and sometimes some letters flash up.

what could be the problem here?

ok, so what i've done is:

I had a wii virgin updated with 4.1e and bought around summer 2007 if i'm not mistaken

1 - I runned boot.elf from the SD card -> the hackmii, then I installed the Homebrew channel and next the DVDx

2 - Loadmii and I opened a file boot.dol and it showed me a screen for downgrade IOS 35, I runned it and it downloaded and installed the files, next i run Patchmii, again the program downloaded some files and installed.

3 - I went back to loadmii and I hit the file boot2.dol and it opened the wad manager 1.4 and when it says select IOS version i choose IOS 35, in the source I leave it at Wii SD slot.

In the SD slot I installed IOS35-64-v1040.wad and finally I installed the Backup Channell.wad.

and thats it, homebrew runs smoothly, I dont know with wich version of IOS I am with and backup channel doesn't run backups xD

if you can install bootmii as boot2 then do so and make a nand backup straight away, if it will only install as an ios then don't bother...forget loadmii, just run the installer...wad manger doesnt come into it....
