    Completely confused about updates

Well, I read the tuts and now I am more confused. I have a NTSC-U Wii bought in Indonesia with firmware 3.2U. I think it was bought in 2007 or something. I have no clue which modchip it has (all I can say is I bought it in a booth two booths wide in Mangga Dua MAL.)

Anyway, we bought Smash Bros. Brawl a while back and it asked as for an update. Being cautious of the warning, we didn't update and sold the game.

Now we are playing all the old games unsure if we can play new ones without upgrading ('cuz of the PSP update to play new games thing.) So my questions are, can we play new games on it and can we update the wii to play things like WiiFit and Brawl?

    (That was confusing...)

    Thank You!

Thanks a lot. Also, I read something about home brew problems. Is this true? Or is there a fix for it?

HBC works with any Wii firmware and mod chip.
For exp; I have version 4.1, HBC and a chip.
PLEASE SEARCH, READ, AND THINK BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.

    Don't forget the thanks button...

Thank you very very much. I will now proceed to enjoying a newly updated Wii. Thanks again!
