    Question A real noob question

    hi

Im new to wii hacking and i used this guide Wii Softmod Tutorial for noobs like meto downgrade my wii and it worked perfectly but following everything i also installed the backup launcher channel which i dont need as i have a d2ckey installed. I deleted it on the data management screen in the channels part but reading up on it i found that it isnt fully deleted? How can i get rid of it fully?

They're probably referring to the cIOS left behind. Don't worry about it, it's always useful to have a vunerable IOS on your system. Deleting a channel in Wii settings is very effective at removing the wad from the NAND.

You could also try wad manager and anytitle deleter but you risk bricking your Wii messing about with those if you don't understand what you are doing.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

As I said if you went into Channel management on the Wii and deleted the channel then it's gone.

A vunerable IOS is one which we can use to run homebrew code on the Wii. It's these little beauties that allow us to create the software to enable wonderful things like USB Loaders to work. Without one you can do no more than play emulators and homebrew games.
