    Backup loader ,no homebrew channel

    Yes i'm thick, no need to get to the end of my post to discover it.
    I had my wii soft modded , don't know what method they used but I don't have a homebrew channel just a backup loader channel , which, upto now has worked great for homebrew games. I now occasionaly get error#002 on loading games. I have tried in vain to get to the bottom of this and it appears I need to load some WAD files using Wad installer .I have tried putting this on my Sd card(contains a Private folder/ wii/apps/titles(loads of bin files)) but can not activate it through the backup loader.
    Any ideas folks
    Cheers

    Try this it will give you hb Channel HBC Installer.rar

    You have to have HB Channel to use any of the Wad Installers or apps.

    You should have installed Bootmii through Hackmii;
    Did you install as Boot2 or IOS?

    If you installed Bootmii as boot 2, then you need to remove sd card as it is trying to boot into bootmii.

    You still need to run Bootmii to back up Nand, than after that you can save it to PC and reuse SD. My advice keep that SD in safe and never use for anything else. I am in process of recovering data from Raid 5 Server that suddenly wasn't accessable anymore, and couldn't rebuild itself, so I don't really believe in just having one backup device.

    I suggest you read up on it first BootMii.org

    I now have the home brew channel but no boot mii , if I start the wii sd card in it gives the 4 title as before but the remotes don't work. if i take the sd out and start then go to homebrew it says sd in the middle for a few seconds then just the bubble screen remains, their are 2 icons bottom right ,the earth flashes when passed over but thats it . in managment /sd it shows hbc and ask if i want to copy, i say no. Any clues??
